SUMMER OF MINO
SUMMER OF MINO
Summer of MINO is a yearly community event focused on bringing together a local and wider community inspired by creativity and culture for positive change. All summer from mid-July to September, we create a playfield to explore impactful ideas, build meaningful connections and collaborations that foster positive change. In co-creation with local partners, we bring a summer blend of exhibition, panels & talks, film screenings, events, and a rooftop bar with food and drinks.
This year Summer of MINO centers the theme “What a time to be alive” and explores how music culture and visual art intersect, pushing the boundaries of our creativity and shaping our existence and resistance in everyday life.
In collaboration with a lot of local partners, we provide a summer experience full of music, films, art, food, drinks and nature.
Join us for sunset evenings on our rooftop garden - our best-kept secret in full bloom

MINO and FOMU join forces for the public program of the exhibition RE/SISTERS, currently ongoing at FOMU (Until August 18). Under the slogan "The change we want to bring is what binds us," we are bringing together a diverse range of local voices for dialogues and encounters that serve as the cornerstone of the public program for the RE/SISTERS exhibition.
Discover the intricate connections between the intensive exploitation of the Earth and the social exploitation of women and minorities through RE/SISTERS. Rooted in ecofeminism, a movement that emerged in the 1970s and continues to thrive today, the exhibition presents a powerful exploration of these intertwined struggles. RE/SISTERS brings the audience face-to-face with women and communities on the frontline of the fight to protect and restore our planet. They see their own oppression and the degradation of the environment as outcomes of the same social, economic, and political forces. The RE/SISTERS exhibition invites you to break free from entrenched beliefs and embrace new perspectives. From August 16 to 18, MINO hosts a series of activities marking the final weekend of the RE/SISTERS exhibition. We will culminate with a guerilla walk from MINO to FOMU, offering a last chance to visit this thought-provoking exhibition before it closes on August 18.
